Starting this chapter

Today I decided that I would start a blog....hadn't really thought about it before.  I don't really have the time, yet I spend lots of time reading other blogs so why not? 

My life is pretty calm right now, school's out, not time for vacation yet, too hot outside to do much (100 today). 
What will I blog about?  My life.....this journey that I'm on.  Maybe I'll talk about my kids and grands, my husband, being a 'cougar', my crafts, my friends,  my search to learn more about myself....I guess this shall be a type of diary, but there's some things I probably will never mention, my secrets, my heartaches and politics.

I'll post pix, a lot of them....my camera is my constant companion on this journey.  I still use a film camera, two of them actually, both Canon Rebels but different models.  My digital camera, at this point, is my phone.  It has an 8.2mp with flash-I love it!!!  It's almost time for my upgrade and there are 3 smartphones with 8mp cameras with flash that I'm looking at....I have a few more months to research them.
