Almost 50
So I believe that I've covered the fact that I suck at this more than once. B-) Be that as it may, today I feel compelled to write a bit. I turn 50 next week, next Thursday. The big 5-0....and it doesn't bother me. Does that make me weird? or should I say weirder? I'm doing a hair cut again, no idea what miss A will come up with this time, and I like it like that. We are planning an airplane jump, tandem jump to celebrate my milestone. Not sure when, but we are....soon. My heart is in a good place, better than in quite awhile. Physically, well, I'm not where I want to be, but that's ok too. I'm selling It Works products and I'm not rich yet, but I believe I can get us a lot more comfortable. I love the supplements and the wraps!
Kaliko is ready for school to be done and is talking more about home schooling.....She's very nervous about middle school and being able to keep up with the work. Her teacher is thrilled with her progress made this year but she's not even close to where they want her to be yet...BUT the girl has met a huge personal goal- she saved money from bdays and Cmas and babysitting and bought herself a laptop, A Chromebook, like they use at school. We are so proud of her. Basketball season was a success for her, her game has vastly improved because she had some great coaches. She has one of them for softball this year too. Now if the weather would cooperate and let it feel like softball season. Almost the end of April and it hit 30 over night......bother.
My soldier and his family have gotten their own place and they are expecting another munchkin in Sept- <3!!!
We had a few snow days that, somehow, insired me to be creative. I will have to add a pic, at some point, I really love one piece.
Right now we are re-arranging the house. MOving our bedroom to the newly vacated basement, then the girl into our old room and her room will be an office/guestroom. then will be some kitchen remodeling, then the laundry room. All while trying to do yard work and put in a new veggie garden and squeeze in some creative "Me" time too. Am I a glutton for punishment? No, not really, I just want things done. MY way.
Now, back to my granddaughter who needs a book read to her :-)
